“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6

PREACH & TEACH THE GOSPEL
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
Malaysian Local Pastors
Although non-Malaysians cannot legally preach in public, supporting and teaching local pastors the Word of God is critical in spreading the Gospel. There are currently 15 local churches, both 8 with their own building and 7 house churches. Missionary Paul’s main tasks have been to train 20+ local Orang Asli pastors and provide financial support, which he has been doing primarily with his own funds.
- You can support a local pastor’s part time salary for $150/month or $1,800/year. We are looking for partners to support 25 pastors.
The Young Jin Choi Mission Memorial Scholarship
A $5,000/semester matching scholarship is given to a seminarian with a vision for overseas missions since many are prevented from going abroad sooner due to school debt, especially those with families. This matching scholarship allows supporters of the seminarian to donate tax-deductible gifts to raise an additional $5000/semester, so potentially up to another $10,000/year can be raised. Our current scholarship recipient is Simeon Nyihemba, a NIgerian student at Westminster Theological Seminary California. Simeon has a long term vision to return to Nigeria to train others in the Gospel. Simeon just started a paid internship as the youth pastor for San Diego Onnuri Church, a branch of the Seoul megachurch with locations throughout the world and a vision for global missions.
- Your one-time or monthly donation will go to this annual $10,000 scholarship
Pastoral Development in South East Asia
We are partnering with Missionaries Paul and Susan Lee, the first recipients of our seminarian scholarship in 2006. Paul currently leads Southeast Asia for Mission to the World (the missions organization for the PCA denomination). One way specifically is to support a March Pastors Conference in Vietnam for 50 pastors. This number may vary as sometimes local police will disallow them to attend.
- Your one-time or monthly donation will support this conference which has costs of $5000 to provide transportation, housing, and other expenses.
BUILD HOUSES OF WORSHIP
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20
The Orang Asli are new believers and often the poorest people of Malaysia, so many don’t have churches to gather and worship in community. Missionary Paul has built 6 church buildings so far and 3 more house churches were planted in 2024. There are several ways to help expand this pillar of ASM.
New Sunday School Building in Choh Village Church
This is the most remote village and currently 40 worship here, but there is no Sunday school building and 20 children meet at a nearby home.
- Your one-time or monthly donation will go build a $10,000 Sunday School building to expand youth ministries
Church Van for EPAC Church
The Emmanuel Praising Anglican Center (EPAC) flagship church in Kampar needs a new church van to pick up members and newcomers since not everyone has their own transportation. This van will also be used during the week for various expanding ministries.
- Your one-time or monthly donation will go purchase a $20,000 used church van

DO WORD AND DEED OUTREACH
“Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18
Jesus not only taught people but also healed and fed them.
Community Development and Education:
The children of Orang Asli tribes have very poor living conditions and limited education opportunities in their villages. To help with their education, junior high and high school children can now go to Kampar (2 hours from Kuala Lumpur) and to better local schools and live in a new dormitory that has been built through a $300,000 donation from a Los Angeles Korean American church. A Chinese Malaysian church has committed to provide annual operating and living expenses for $40,000. This dorm launched in March 2024 with 12 students and will expand to 25 students this year.
Student Dormitory Tutoring Fees
- You can partner in supporting tutoring fees for 25 students, which are $100/month per student or $2,500/year.
Food Expenses for Training Events for Leaders and the Youth Group
Food to feed 40 leaders or students is $200 total/event.
You can support one monthly event or annually 12 events for $2,400.
Youth Sports Ministry
Each event reaches out to 50 youth.
- You can support 1 event for $200 or all 8 for $1,600
